Chicago's Active Tails LLC is a small local business that is continuously growing.

With many repeat trusted and loyal clients, we are growing happy and strong.

As of today, we are still a word-of-mouth business. We love it and would like to keep it that way for a bit longer.

At some point in the near future, we will open C.A.T's doors to the public, but as of today, it is just us. The C.A.T. Pack.

Our mission and commitment is to give the very best of us, to keep every single pup under our care safe and happy, to accommodate everyone's needs as much as possible, and to always be as affordable as possible.

The Story Behind Our Logo

Back in 2017, when the vision to work with pups became a dream and the dream became a reality, I met a beautiful three-month-old pup that took over my heart instantly.

The moment I saw her picture on the app, I fell in love with her and her beautiful long eyelashes.

The eyelashes looked even more beautiful in person.

Before I started walking her, I didn't have many clients; I probably had 5 at most.

The magic happened when I started walking her twice a day for five consecutive days per week.

She was literally a magnet for people. Everyone would stop to say hi; all the pups were curious to meet her, and people would always give compliments on how beautiful she was.

People began asking me if I would be interested in walking their pups after seeing me walk her often around the neighborhood.

Her wonderful parents also refer me to everyone in their building.

In a matter of two months, I had more than fifteen repeat clients just in that neighborhood.

I promised her and myself that one day I would turn that hobby into a real business and that she would be the face of it.

And here we are, over half a decade later, with the gorgeous Addie Steiger as the face and logo of Chicago's Active Tails LLC.

She started something beautiful for me; thanks to her and her beautiful eyelashes, I met amazing people and their pups.

She truly helped me achieve one of my dream "jobs."

I will always cherish baby Addie and her amazing parents.

Safe and Happy Environment

At C.A.T. safety is our number one priority!

We are committed to keeping your pups 100% safe during the stay from beginning to end.

Since we are a crate-free environment, we allow all pups to interact, socialize, and have as much fun as possible no matter the breed or size.

The only time we use playpens/panels to separate them is at feeding time.

Please, if you are aware of your pup being aggressive or having a history of aggressiveness, we might not be the best fit for your pup's needs. You can still contact us, and we will be more than happy to recommend a trustworthy facility that will most definitely work with you and your beloved pup. Thank you for your understanding.

Extra Peace of Mind while on the Walk

During every walk, we use a live GPS tracker device. Before exiting your home we clip this device to your pup's collar. In the unfortunate event of a pup managing to escape the harness or the leash. We will be able to track every move via the app, which will help us find it almost immediately, as long as the device is clipped onto the collar. We believe this device is a nice and much-needed extra layer of security to have peace of mind while knowing your pup is getting walked. Read more

We understand how stressful it can be to trust someone with access to their home, let alone walk their precious pup(s).

This is why our dependable and trustworthy walker(s) are well-trained and equipped with a 1080p GPS body camera, which is reviewed at the conclusion of each day.

This not only ensures that the service is performed correctly but also keeps our walkers focused and safe.

This body camera stays on from the very moment our walker enters your home to get your pup until the very moment the pup returns from its walk.

Our top priority is the safety of your pup and our walker(s).

We strongly believe that having peace of mind while away from home and your pup is invaluable.

We provide care for your fur baby as if they were our own, and ensure that they receive the highest quality care while you're away. Our goal is to be your pup's home away from home.

Transportation

We know your pups deserve only the best. That is why we don't ever subject any pup to a cramped or uncomfortable car ride.

We offer safe, reliable, and comfortable transportation with every service at absolutely no extra charge.

We do have a distance limit of about 15 miles maximum from zip code 60707.

Walker

My cousin Joshua Flores is our backup walker. He has been with me almost since the beginning. I completely trust him with my clients. When it comes to busy schedules he helps us out with walks and transportation.

He has a talent for socializing pups who aren't used to being around other pups. He is unquestionably valuable to our pack.
